The Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005 (AODA) was created in order to develop and apply accessibility standards in order to make the province more accessible and inclusive.

 

As a designated organization in the public sector, the township must have accessibility policies and a multiannual accessibility plan and update the plan at least once every five years.
